they showed 99% Aerith with scenes of 'romantic nature' with Aerith singing a 'love ballad' with 1 quick shot of Tifa in the trailer where her and Cloud high five considering the nature of how it was all presented. There's just no way that whole thing was not marketed for them it doesnt help...
