Wow, it seems they made a shoddy anime adaptation. Also condensed remakes of 1 and 2 for the Nintendo DS?? Kinda weird to that this series had enough attention at the time to get an anime, but has yet to have a release on any modern gaming platform. Also given how popular the Xenoblade games are.

Vincent maybe? Yuffie will be in the main game regardless. She's already developed for in-game use, so that should be taken for granted. I think Vincent will make it in for sure, for the record. I do see potential for playable Sephiroth and/or Zack DLC.

I mostly just foresee balancing issues and think it might be a wise idea to cut pieces of the roster where they can get away with it. I don't particularly care what they decide to do with Cait either which way, I just think 9 useable characters is a lot.

I think something to keep in mind is how the characters are going to be balanced for every character to feel useful? We already have the core 4 from the first game, then Red and Yuffie. That bumps the roster up to 6. Then add Cid, Vincent, Cait Sith... That's more than double the roster from...
