I know you literally just said we will talk about it later but if we take a crack at this given my history in this field of work I will definitely help out. I don't have the time anymore to take a full time crack at this(so no videos from me etc.) but I can definitely help oversee it and help you set up the infrastructure for it. As well as help a long with all of the do's and donts etc.

We have had a crack at social media before. The problem was that nobody is keeping our accounts up to date :P I used to post every new article on Facebook, but when I stopped actively contributing to our front page earlier this year, I stopped doing that as well. Pixel still posts things occasionally. Our Twitter account hasn't posted since April, our Tumblr account hasn't posted in a year, and our G+ account doesn't seem to work any more, at least not for me. All of our social network accounts can be found on this page.

If we're going to discuss this later, as Lex said, then I won't post any more about it now. Just thought I'd remind everyone that we do exist on social networks :)

I only just saw this (we're on a new page). IDK I want you to stay and do the thing that you do best. I've had a conversation with Yop about talking to you about this, apparently he hasn't done that yet :monster:

Your post reads like you don't want to do it anymore. We all want you to keep going but I respect that it's maybe not the easiest time for you to be putting a lot into the site. I don't think we'll need a lot however, so it's up to you to have a discussion (maybe on Skype) with me or someone else about whether or not you still want to deal with the programmy side of things.

I didn't mean "don't talk about it now" I was more thinking maybe we could make a thread about it, but until then feel free to post/ chat about it XD

Well, I think enough time has passed without anyone raising any objections, so I've opened General Gaming, Entertainment, and The Venue up to public viewing. If anyone has any content they would like to be re-hidden, contact me.

Some people might have mentioned having issues with their gamer tags on display in general gaming. I personally don't but that's just me.

TBH those threads were out in public for quite a while before we made those sections private, IDK if it was a problem then. But at the same time, I'm inclined to agree that that kind of information should be treated like e-mail addresses and other such private information.

Also it wouldn't actually be too hard to put that info in one's profile, :awesome:.

I see what you did there :monster:. I was actually sure we already had a custom profile field for that kind of info, odd. I can add custom profile fields easily enough, but I think it requires a template edit to display it in one's postbit.

What's happening at the moment? I've been busy this weekend and haven't checked in for a couple of days. I see that the user titles have been sorted out, but what about the rest of our "TLS 2.0" project?

A podcast took place the other day, discussion is still ongoing in the site design thread and I'm still dealing with user title stuff.

That's it from my end at the moment, when all the user title stuff is taken care of we'll move forward re: making distribution of responsibilities clear.

Like I said in that thread, I'm hands off with the podcast stuff, I have no clue. Maybe you as the community manager should continuously poke everyone in the thread until we nail down an A/V Manager?

I assume Ryu will be doing the editing of this most recent podcast as he has time. Going forward with our future plans for the podcast, we will need at least one other person who can perform this role.

I'm willing to try my hand at it in addition to hosting, but I'm a relative novice to that sort of thing (I've made an AMV before, and that's it), so I hope someone else will take it on.

My experience in any A/V editing consists of creating a Buffy and Angel OMV when I was 14 in Windows Movie Maker to the music of "Chosen" from Buffy's finale and adding random bits of text to a recording of the final battle from Lightning Returns very recently.

Long story short, I have none, I might be quite good at it if I spent lots and lots of time learning (I tend to pick these things up quickly), and maybe I should. But for now, I'm not the dude for any of that stuff :monster:

Can I say for the record that I agree with Flint that "Active Projects" should be renamed to "Projects and Events"?

A lot of the projects aren't active though, which is why the active part was being dropped from the name XD.
