I want to build the facebook page more, by posting interesting stuff, as well as shareable stuff, like memes and picture, outstanding fanart, quotes from the compilation, etc. But I need help.

If there's anything interesting you think is worth sharing, feel free to post it here. That way I don't have to spend too much time searching for stuff. And we can post 2 or 3 things per day.

If you look at the FB page, you can get a feel for what people like to share, directly affecting the amount of people the content reaches. The more people we can reach with this stuff, the bigger the platform we have for articles and video content.

I honestly thought this was a mistake! I had seen it, realised it was linked to my thread and thought, "Wait, maybe he just clicked the wrong link. I'll come back in about an hour and see if it's been changed". And then I see it's on the FB page.

I'm actually blushing typing this in, grinning from ear to ear. Mentions like that, especially when I had no hand in it, does mean a lot to me! Thank you :loveglomp:

It's got me thinking: From what I see of every FF page I've clicked 'Like' on in the past, the ones that garner the most attention seem to be artwork [at least, the most "Likes", which are still very valuable in spreading to a "friend of a friend" through News Feed].
As a way of directing people to the Forums, you could make posts like you did with my FF: BR, where people can find more art by linking to the threads posted in the Creativity section. For example, I know Flare, Howl and The Engineer have threads for their amazing artwork. This, in turn, also gives some of our talented members a bit of spotlight :)

I know there have been many artwork posts, but some linking specifically to the forums is a bonus.

I just realized, the creativity section is only accessible by registered members, so posting links to certain sections won't do much.

Well you shared the pic and described it, so if people want to get involved they would have had to sign up anyway.

We could maybe move that to community events or something so it's publicly visible.

I can just open up that section to the public if you like; we mainly closed the public chat thing to the public because there's some mildly personal stuff going on in there.

IDK, it seems to have more mileage value if some work shared in Creativity were to be showcased further in a public section, thus causing people to have to sign up if they want to explore more artwork.

No idea, I'm afraid. Weird that it doesn't say. But I did a reverse image search to make sure they haven't stolen it from someone else.

Edit: it does actually say the author is reetam, I just missed it.

Also IIRC, someone here has the VII curved line symbol as a tattoo, can't remember who though, I feel it's one of the dudes.

Just a heads up, I'm going to be whoring out the FB page a little bit over the next few days to try to grow the audience. Im pretty picky about the pages I do share for share with, so dont worry. If we can gain more people on the page sharing stuff, it'll make it easier to get stuff out there, and more worthwhile to make content.

Can I make a request? Whenever you guys share a link on Facebook, write something to go with it. I know you normally do that for TLS articles but when it's a third-party link, I usually just see an URL and I have no idea whether or not I want to click on it.

When sharing a link, you can paste the URL and then delete it (to replace it with text) without removing the actual link below. I don't know if everyone knows that so I thought I'd share. :)

I've just been busy the last few days, so sharing links has been easier than trying to think of something to write about it. Every post does have a little description, and the link generates a thumbnail and blurb, so it is clear what you're clicking on. Not really sure what the issue is here.
