I have to disagree. If we don't add our own description to links, Facebook grabs what it thinks is the beginning of the article. Some websites are good at summarising their articles in sub-headers; others are not. Take this as an example:I've just been busy the last few days, so sharing links has been easier than trying to think of something to write about it. Every post does have a little description, and the link generates a thumbnail and blurb, so it is clear what you're clicking on. Not really sure what the issue is here.
Show me where on that picture the words "Yoshinori" and "Kitase" appear.
It hasn't just been the last few days, either. This example is from last week and it's actually for one of our own articles:
The URL hints at "trailer" but doesn't mention "gameplay", which is kind of the key point of that article. I get that you were sharing photos but I can't find another link to that article on our Facebook page.
I remember seeing more examples in the past but I'm sure I'd just be called pedantic if I went digging for them, so hopefully two will suffice.
