So, this Twitter thing

Every once in a while, say, once a year, I go to the frontpage to take a look. This year, my gaze fell upon the 'TLS on Twitter' link on the left, and I thought 'HEY OMG, WE HAVES TWITTER!'.

What should we do with it? :monster: If anything, I think there's plugins for Wordpress that'll automagically publish links to TLS if one makes a post, although one can argue its value.

Also, gonna update the frontpage to Wordpress 3.0.1 in a bit (currently at 2.7 or something). Not a very exciting release (see the release notes for info), but still.

You can always be very 21st century and extend tls to facebook, twitter, bebo and such.
Christ even acf has a facebook page now.

Clearly the moderators are all too busy with all of TLS other ongoing projects to update it! Like the project of using the LTD thread to chat up women, or the project of deciding how big of a sympathy cuddle to give Vendel after being mocked by that same crowd.

Or, its because SE has decided to leave the Compilation alone till they fire their current writing team of howler monkeys and rehire some actual human beings to compose the next installment.

Personally, I blame Hirotoki.

Not all of us have access to the Twitter account. If it were up to me I'd be updating the thing daily.

I had kind of forgotten about it, though. :P

I forgot about it, honestly. While I would very like to blame SE (and yeah, I do) for the sites slowdown in what we have to offer, you gotta remember there are franchises way deader than FFVII/Compilation that keep it movin'.

I suggest having everyone be assigned a certain aspect of the site's features so everything stays updated.

I think the howler monkeys are probably the biggest problem right now.

What would we update on Twitter? I honestly don't even know.

...And what the fuck is the ACF facebook page talking about? How much SY's anticipating Cloverfield's sequel?

There are a ton of Final Fantasy communities running over at livejournal, so I think it'd be a good place to start spreading the word about TLS.

I have an LJ, if you're cool with the idea. All I'd be doing really is posting the twitter link (or whatever you want it to link to) and maybe a small summary to the communities I'd be posting at. Though, I don't think it'd hurt if TLS had a livejournal community as well, it might help bring in more members.

I don't really do any sites like Facebook or Twitter, but I practically live on LJ and it would be awesome to have a community on there for TLS.

Since I really don't know muhc about LJ, and the rest of the staff are REALLY SLOW at responding, do you two wanna brainstorm some ideas as to what you could do with a page like that, and what sort of content would interest people?
