Wow. To be honest i had little to no faith in this movie at all.

This trailer turned it all around. I really want to see this now.

Ditto. It seems like more of 300, and while I like it well enough, I've gotten all I wanted out of its style of action.

I dont know. I think I may dig it because I had such low expectations for it, I seriously thought it was going to be worse then Spike Lee's Oldboy (Which is god awful if you love the original vengeance trilogy stay far far away).

That plus the fact that Im not really a fan of Frank Millers work (the guy did 2 things right and everything else was garbage). So I guess having such low faith for it really helped out.

It certainly looks like a stronger film then the original 300. It still seems to sport the shirtless ab monsters of the first movie but I get less sense of that macho man male bravado that was way to over the top in the first movie. With Eva Green running the show it seems like its going to add in some bad ass females.


Im having such a hard time articulating my thoughts on this due to lack of sleep but it really feels like it may be a different movie to me.
