Romancing Saga.

Sounds like the GB incarnations of the series.

Interestingly, Neither romancing saga or 'final fantasy legends' got past three games, which makes me curious of the big ole 4 on the page, since it's counting down about 9 days worth of hours.

Tomomi Kobayashi, the character designer for the Saga games, mentioned in her blog that she was working with Square Enix again. I didn't notice the music before (not that I recognise it anyway), but I thought that another Saga seems likely.

It is the Saga 20th Anniversary as well, so that's another thing. They might be making something new for that.

Y'know, I'd love to see a SaGa Frontier Remake. Mostly for the completed storylines instead of the gimped versions we got.

But yes, definitely SaGa. With that music, and the artist back on board, it's only a question of what exactly.

Looking at the 20th anniversary site, the original Saga (not Romancing/Frontier/Unlimited) were all on the GB. So maybe the GB music means this could be another [just] Saga.

The music is essentially the ubiquitous Saga music and has been rearranged a lot, but the same basic melody showed up in the SaGa games and Frontier at least.

I even popped the old FFLs in just to check.

He has a vaguely Luso-esque feel to him, but that doesn't mean anything to a SaGa game, since none have been related to the other games.

Also, speaking of remakes, SaGa 2 is getting a DS remake.

Now for SaGa Frontier finished edition!
