I have seen just six of those films, and three of them are the Back to the Future trilogy. I wonder if anyone else here has seen fewer?

^Thats a disgrace Flint. You should come to my house and we can do the reverse of My Fair Lady where I teach you how to be a slob and sit eating crisps and watch aaalll the films....except Dogma, because that was shit :monster:

Also I really miss the old style painted film posters. I think I've seen nearly all of those.

I'm surprised that you've seen only one of the James Bond movies on that list. Otherwise I'm not that surprised. :P You're in need of some cultural capital.

There are many movies on that list that I haven't heard of on that list, but also some that I really need to see. Like Blade Runner. Why have I not seen that yet?

Also I'd really like to have a few of those posters on my wall. Labyrinth and Willow I could have even with the text. :D

Nice deduction there. :) I've seen On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I think I've seen all five Bond films that came before it, but they're not on the list. I've also seen all of Pierce Brosnan's Bond films, and one of Daniel Craig's. There's just a big gap the size of Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton in my viewing.

I love those Back to the Future posters; I'd never seen those before. :D
Also Aliens looks creepy, as usual.

Because it hasn't aged that well IMO. Or well, it's kind of a slow, not very exciting movie.

It does have Rutger Hauer though. And it's seen as one of the more influential futuristic movies out there.

I've seen 45... possibly more, but I have no idea which Bond movies I've seen and which I haven't, so I didn't count them.

Damn that Escape From New York poster is nice...

Two guys that I used to work with said that it's one of the best movies that they've seen. Before that I don't remember hearing too much about the film. And I think the fact that it's seen as an influential movie is a good reason to watch it. At least it would be one movie off the list. :awesome:

If I counted right I've seen 25 + possibly some of the James Bond films. So I still have some catching up to do.

18 for me. Bond movies greatly beefing up my total. And 6 freebies from Star Wars (although I only properly saw 5 and 6 last year).

It's funny how in the original Blade Runner poster he looks like Dan Ackroyd or something

I was gonna say 3 (Labyrinth, Pulp Fiction and Poltergeist - may have seen half of Raiders of the Lost Ark though), but then I remembered two years ago watching all 6 Star Wars because they were auditioning for main roles for the new one at the time, and I was in my acting phase. It's a good thing I never got too far in the audition process: I couldn't get into the films :P

I had that same experience though; I was like "whoa, I always thought they were slightly edited photos". I think it's because usually the text is the thing really drawing your attention, the rest is just background art.

One should make more collections like these, it gives a fresh perspective on things. Like how a lot of posters look kinda naff, :monster:
