I never understood why Vincent/Yuffie has always been so popular. I can kinda understand from their interactions in DoC, but it was popular befre that, even though we hadn't seen any interactions between them that I can remember in the original game. I think it has to do with those fangirls who feel the need to pair off everybody, and Vincent and Yuffie just happened to both be secret characters so people started pairing them off in fanfics.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of Yaoi pairings. and Cid/Sierra is the way to go anyway.
