I understand the Wii-U version was being devleoped seperately. Maybe that one will be good. WOuldn't hold my breath though.

I hadn't ever expected to play this and am thus less disappointed than you lot, but it still sucks. I hate when anything Alien related turns out sub-par (which it depressingly often does).

Given that the game is currently on sale for $3 right now, a little bit of news happened to point to a Mod that overhauls a lot of things in the game to improve it to what it should've been like upon release. The best part is that – five years after the game's initial release, that modder discovered that one of the primary reasons that the game's AI was such absolute shit was a SINGLE LETTER TYPO in one line of the AI code. Found all via this thread.
