anyone got friends who dont like Final Fantasy?

Yeah the last person i spoke in depth about FF was a mate at college in 2006, and he was English/Japanese so ofcourse he was fucking right up for a discussion, it was a right good time, we just fucking drew pics and talked about the upcoming Advent children movie (which was due for release in Europe soon).

Some of them have heard of FFXIII simply because it's pretty current and it's out on the xbox and ps3.

That’s one thing that bothered me at school. I had friends who loved playing RPG’s but none of them played any of the old classics like FFVII. They only ever discussed the newer titles. When I mentioned about the older titles such as FFVII and FFVIII, they simple shook their heads and told me they’ve never played it before. :/

I tried to get my bf to play FFVII....but it didn't take. In a way I am glad, because its nice to have things that are 'mine'

I've got one or two friends who like FF, but most of them dont even play games. Plus its kind of hard to explain that I am obsessed with a minor character from a 13 year old game. Its ok though, because of the internet I've got all you lovely people to squee with!

yeah I have one, but she's close minded in general. I mean she likes what she likes, and I have quite a bit in common with her. She often tries to get you to like some things she likes, whether its a certain game or anime or whatever and shes often succeeded with me. But I've brought up Final Fantasy a couple of times and she bashes it or doesn't like talking about it. I asked her where she knows it from and she said only Kingdom Hearts. So she gets on my nerves in this department lol thats why personality wise I don't really get along with her, shes become more of an aquanitence as of now. But anyway my point is I know what ur saying. someone said ur making it sound like a religion lol I don't think u are, its just something some of us are more passionate about and into than others, and thats cool. I'm probally at your end of the fan spectrum, so I do wish I had at least one friend who also loved Final Fantasy 7, or one of them, cuz its a big intrest of mine, its like someone who rides motercycle I'm sure has friends who do too. But thats honestly why I'm glad I found this site the other day, gives me a place to get some FF talk out of my system XD
