Apparently Torchwood's next season has started

I say apparently because I saw it among the channels when I was flipping through. It's on Starz, and the premise is that one day, people just stop dying. They still age and get sick, but they can't die.

A CIA agent tries to get to the bottom of it, and he discovers Torchwood. At the moment, that's all I know, because I haven't seen any episodes yet- we don't get Starz and I'm not going to buy it just to check out Torchwood.

But yeah, Cap'n Jack and Gwen are returning, don't know about anyone else.

I might DL some episodes, but unlike Dr Who and Sarah Jane, I'm not in much of a hurry.

I kinda thought you guys knew about this already x.x
I found out about it a few months ago when they released info at my Site at dish network regarding it, we even had a training piece on upcoming premium channel shows that were going to come out in the coming months to help get sells for agents (Camelot, game of thrones, Torchwood and a few others).

Anywho yeah its called Torchwood: Miracle Day , basically about how people suddenly stopped dieing one day (aka miracle day) and the implications it brings about. At first everyones happy that they have become undying (not immortal) but soon come to realize its not as great as it seems. People whom were on the verge of death are stuck in there final hours for eternity, infinite pain, half life ect. World populate potentially increasing, and something about diseases probably getting worse (i forgot how or why that would happen).

Anywho torchwood and some CIA agents are basically out to find a cure to help people die and get to the bottom of it. If it gets enough views Starz will probably keep bringing it back much like Spartacus and several of its other shows.

Like I said, I was just going by the small blurbs I'd gotten, I knew it was coming out, I just didn't know it had started. Still haven't checked it out. Should I hop on the pirate train now, or wait for meatier happenings?

the second episode has just aired over here. it seems to be getting better, but it feels like the late police academy movies where they disappear off to russia or miami beach. the reason for their extradition seems BS. how can a team that acts outside of law, army and UN sanction be curtailed by ONE American??? it's ridiculous.
