Realized we don't have a thread specifically for this game, which made me *sadface*



This trailer made me lulz. If you aren't familiar with it, or it's been a while, this is the Halo 3 trailer it's a parody of:



The demo is out and if you haven't tried it yet, then you suck. It's very short, but the game is about replaying it over and over to get a better score as you learn new skillshots and plan out different ways to fuck everyone up.

Also, preorder the EE edition to get the Gears 3 beta.

My first impressions of the game when it was just trailers was "this is going to be fucking awesome I want it." Then I forgot about it for a couple months and couldn't remember the name. Saw an ad for it in a gaming magazine which rekindled my "oh yes this game! hell yes!". Playing the demo was the last thing I needed to know I'll love this game.




So... who's going to be playing with me come Feb 22nd? :awesome:

I had not seen that trailer yet. Spoofing the Halo believe ad was just a plain awesome idea.
I'll probably pick this up as a rental as i've no idea how much money i'll have. We'll see. :monster:

I'd definitely get this if it comes out on PC. While I do own a PS3 I can't stand playing shooters on consoles.

I like that the article makes reference to a comment by Carole Lieberman, noted therapist and co-author of 'Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them' clearly this is a woman whose credibility on the matter should be taken with the utmost seriousness.

So, I don't know if this extends to any other country outside of the US, but Gamestop is now offering $5 off of Bulletstorm if you pre-order Gears. I've already done so, so wooohoooo! :monster:
