Character Battle: Group 4

I have weakness towards pirates so a part of me gravitate towards Balthier (yeah, I know he's a sky pirate, but still). His character amuses me greatly too, even more so than Vaan.

Celes, well... my memories of her are boggled. It's sad I couldn't remember much since I sympathize more with Terra.

In the end, I chose Tifa. Well... because she's Tifa. I mean, I love Tifa for so many reasons but the most reason being she was my first FF character love.

Voted for Freya out of loyalty to FFIX.

As it stands, Cloud has 56% of the votes in group 1, Aerith has 50% in group 3 and Tifa has 52% in this group, 4.

I know this is a FFVII site, but still, that's a bit ridiculous. I mean, VII is my favourite game, but I wouldn't vote for any of those three characters in their respective groups. They're going to be separated in the quarter-finals, too, as it stands, so we could get one all-VII semi-final and maybe even an all-VII final.

This isn't a complaint though. The people have spoken!

I had to go with Celes. Sorry sorry sorry, Tifa. I love you but I fell in love with the story arch of the Magi Knight.

I don't vote for the characters I don't know, and I guess chances are big most people know VII, and then some of the other FF games - but not the same ones. Like, I know 6 and 13, others might know 7, 8 and 9. So the results don't surprise me.

I voted for Kefka, but it doesn't make a difference - Tifa and Celes are safely through. Balthier did really poorly, again. I guess even the "best" character in XII (not my personal favourite, I thought he was annoying) can't match up with the second and third most popular characters from some other games.
