You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things.

I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.

I've got a clan of gingerbread men.
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men.
Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish.

Hmm, difficult. I'm not good at suggesting topics for discussion. Usually the way I inspire people is by sending entertaining or informative videos.

I heard today that some schools in Germany are teaching Intelligent Design. Just when you thought the Germans were finished with their sins they end up following the republican extremists of the US :monster: 'Tis worries me greatly.

I was invited to distribute anti-fascism leaflets today (in the run-up to the Euro elections) but declined as it was raining and I have a bit of a cough.

Ah, no...I'm a bit of an activist at times. I think the majority of uploaded videos on my Youtube account are of a trade union rally. I mostly get involved in the workplace stuff, but occasionally other things too, depending upon what it is and how strongly I feel about it.

I am as politically inactive as one gets. I can only do what everyone already can; joke about politics :monster: I mostly just shut the outside world out.
Though I did raise an ear or two when the pirate bay case was spoken of in the news.

Edit: Honestly I don't even know what "trade union rally" means.

I try to pay attention to the issues that affect me, but I wouldn't say I have a keen interest in politics. I wouldn't say I'm guilty of burying my head in the sand, but as I tend to avoid much of the media (rarely watch TV, only ever flick through the newspapers) often I'm pretty oblivious to what's going on around me. Unless I make the effort to look at the news websites, I haven't a clue what's happening in the world unless someone says something that catches my attention.

I suppose maybe I shut out the outside world too.

Edit: Trade unionism is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_union and rally...is a protest. Pretty much.

Things like the swine flu is hard to avoid though. But I first heard it through the internet; people was joking about it relentlessly, of course.

I think ones mental health can be improved if you stay observant of the activities both locally and globally. I don't do this, and as an effect I feel confused almost all the time :monster:

"There's a party tonight?"
"What election?"

It is, but then again the media seems to have gone very quiet about that. Might just be because in the UK, the media is all over members of parliament claiming expenses they're not entitled to.

Wow! We had a proper grown up conversation! Quick - do something juvenile and silly to make up for it!!!

Nothis is good. Nevermind the other 160 pages of garbage here. Carry on.

Apparently the latest thing is the media trying to convince the UK voters not to vote for the main parties in the upcoming Euro elections and instead go for the independent parties. I can't help thinking this is an utter waste of time but that the average moron will totally go for it. *sigh*

Oh geez you're right!

Um, uh, urm... Let's ascend...several times at once!!

:manhattan: :manhattan::manhattan:

I could ascend you all night, baby! :awesome:

Most UK voters are stupid enough no to bother changing their votes at all tbh

I feel very high right now when talking elections; because I have no idea what's going on! Are there elections all over EU? Are there national elections? WTF IS GOING?!!

I take a quick look in the papers now and then of course and sometimes come across something interesting. Like news about Obama's visit to Europe about a month ago, when he spoke to Medvedev (that Russian dude) about dismantling the nukes. Apparently Obama and Medvedev were on the same page, with dismantling the bombs I mean.

>Insert blatant innuendo here<

I dunno if it is happening all over Europe...this might be just for the UK to elect their ministers to the Euro parliament.

Ashes - you think so? You're probably right. More people vote on things like Big Brother than in actual elections.

Talking of voting, Europe and shit like that...is Eurovision this weekend??

Edit: YES IT IS! WOOHOO!!! I foresee drinking and singing and much fun chez Munky!

Wiki says that apparently the finals for Eurovision are on 16th of May. I actually read an article about this today; a female artist went to Moscow to rest up for the finals.
