I was just in the nerdiest convention this town has to offer.

Board games. Nothing but people playing and selling board games. Plus some booths for animé and video games. Full of nerd stereotypes.

It was...weird. I felt out of place.

I have never seen "nerd" culture that up close. The way many people were dressed, their body shape and the games they were playing... It was all so stereotypical. Unfortunately you had to pay in order to participate in any games at all.
