She told me that the Earth (and probably the universe) is not old, and that evolution doesn't work when applied to long time periods, and that I "believe" in evolution just as she believes in creationism.
...Believe me guys, I have tons of things to say about this. I'm just too baffled and freaked out to go and say the obvious responses to such ideas.
She also suggested that a God is necessary to find meaning in life; a paradigm that is completely impossible for me to comprehend. WTF does an antropomorphic yet omnipotent God have to do with anything, and why should I care about what this being states, does or doesn't do?!/quote]
LOL, I would have love to met her.
I always imagined I would meet someone of this faith if I ever went to Texas, but intead it happened right here!

Yes, that'd be better. <3 Although I've forgotten why I'm doing this.Okay, then what about feathers instead?
Be glad you aren't a godless Norway heathen, because SOMEHOW those weirdos generally don't believe in a god and the country's still intact. I think there's thousands of Christian scientists trying to figure out how the country is still intact (if they can manage to decide that no, there are no vikings still in Norway.)She also suggested that a God is necessary to find meaning in life; a paradigm that is completely impossible for me to comprehend.
