Thanks. And because, ah...well, she wouldn't like it. Age difference and all that. Nor the lip ring. However, she did say that she hopes you're exactly who and what I think and hope you are, and that we're happy together. She might not approve of certain aspects of things, but as long as I'm happy, that's all that she'll care about :)

My mom can be a bit of a pain sometimes, as well as stubborn and a little close-minded about some things, but she's pretty awesome for the most part. :)

Yerp. My mom can be pretty kickass when she wants to be. I never really thought of her as my mom, really, once I hit, like, 13 or 14. More like a good friend, rly :D

Well, a good friend who always had the final say =/

Everyone thinks I'm a horrible and disrespectful son because I dare to argue with and disagree with my mom, and have no problem calling her out on stuff or giving her shit. But it's not because I'm disrespectful...it's because that's how we are around each other. Plus we both know it's fun :monster:

I don't really have any ties to any of my family. My mom's just the only one I feel more than mere ambivalence/dislike towards. We get along just fine, but due to past stuffs, we'll never have any kind of real "bond".

But I'm glad that you do.

Doing okay, I guess. Really bored, cause there's nothing to do here... :monster: Except for stay in a hotel room all day, and talk to you guys, which is fun though so that's okay. :bmonster: And yes, she did. She had fun. =)

The age difference isn't THAT bad. :awesome: Imo. Though I told one of my best friends how old you were last night and he kept going,
"Wow... just wow..." for like a minute. It was a little funny. ^^::

Eh. I'm used to getting shit about my lip ring. I've come to the point where I don't care what anyone has to say about it in a negative way.

I'm glad your sister had fun, Ali! I'm so glad for her that she got to go.

Your age difference between you and Tiff isn't that big at all Meggy. My aunt and uncle have a nine year age difference. I've known people with a bigger age difference as well. It never matters in a relationship, unless it crosses the line of a nine and forty year old. :awesome:

That's good! It doesn't really bother me, either...just a few years, and it's not like a huge culture/maturity gap. And I find the other kinda hot, tbh. But if I had to pick two things she wouldn't like, it'd be those. But maybe someday we'll find out, ne?

My grandmother, on the other hand, would HATE you. We once went to dinner as a family at Olive Garden, and my ~25-ish cousin split a glass of wine with her husband (ONE GLASS). A few weeks later at New Year's, we were sitting around talking about what everyone was doing, and she said they they were "probably off somewhere getting STONED" (she said the stoned part loudly and with emphasis =/). So yeah, pretty much everything about you wouldn't go over well with her :monster:

Ed: Fortunately, I really don't care wtf my family thinks about anything, including their opinions of girls that I date. They're pretty much a waste of space/air, imo.

Yeah. People just get weird about stuff like that, dating someone right at that "age of consent" area.

Yeah, I can see that. But if people but suffer the slings and arrows of fate, o what wondrous joys they may find :) Except doesn't Korean culture have a lot of arranged marriages and stuff at early ages?
