I'm not sure if I agree with your point that most people use homemade Ouija boards. You can buy Ouija boards anywhere these days. Hell, even Toys R' Us has them. Also, if you don't want me to be boring and spoil it for everyone, why should I explain?

And what Sprite said.

Discussion of the subconscious mind with the Ouija board. :monster:

Ok, but logically people would rather waste no money and make it at home. It makes more sense. You only need a bit of paper, a pen and a glass.

Anyway, I'm talking about a way you can communicate with your subconscious that isn't hypnosis or anything along those lines. It's not very commonly known, it can help with weight problems and depression.

I've started doing it, if you hold the necklace and say in your mind and concentrate on the word "yes" for example the necklace will swing in a particular way, work on it for a while. The longer you practice the stronger the movements get.

When you think of the word "no" it will swing in a different direction. Obviously you can only teach it simple commands like yes , no , maybe, rephrase the question, no more questions things along those lines.

There are limits to the amount of ways it can swing.

It does actually work, it can help with psychological problems and it even helps you find lost items. ^ ^

Is that what you were thinking of Ali?

A Ouija Board can not be made with paper, glass, and a pen.

Yes. And I believe Carl Wickland covered a subject on this. There's also a chapter on that technique in the book, Hypnosis for Dummies. :monster:

For someone who only just learned of tarot cards I wouldn't lecture me on how to make a ouija board. There may be other things you need if you want to take precautions but apart from that it is the basics.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has heard of this then, do you use it at all?

First of all, tarot cards and Ouija boards? Two different things. Secondly, I said, And I forget what it was called... the Broom, Cat, something? o_o I have a friend who's into something called tarot cards, and it sparked my interest after she used them on me. , not that I just learned of them. Also, it takes a shit load of more precautions to make a Ouija board, as I have a home made one as all. And yes, I've done the technique before, considering I looked into Wickland's work and I've bought the book.

Of course they are two different things, I never said they did the same thing, but generally people who are into spiritualism know of them both. No need to point out the obvious.

Those are precautions, the ouija will still work with those basic elements even if it is dangerous. That's all I'm saying and what do precautions matter to you if you think there is a logical solution to explain it all away?

*claps* Well done you bought a book, I wont brag about how many books I have on this matter though, it doesn't matter.

There's nothing obvious to point out about it. You're implication here is that you need to learn the tarot card before someone can lecture you on the Ouija Board? Are you implying that one needs to know both of them in order to be given a lecture? Also, I never said that I had just learned about tarot cards, which is another point I'm bringing up. There's nothing obvious about that, as someone doesn't need to know both expertly well in order to tell someone about the Ouija board or tarot cards. People who are into spiritualism know them both, and I know them both as well, so I don't see your point into even saying that in the first place.

Uh, no. Did you forget that the only way the planchette could move is if it has a slippery surface? You can't use paper to just make a ouija board, it has to be wood. Not only that, but you need polishing to make the planchette move.

Oh believe me, I've bought plenty.

Wtf. You have got to be shitting me.

So what, in order to be a 'spiritualist,' you need to know them both? It's not like this really matters, because she already proved to you that she knew both after you claimed that she had just learned about it. FYI, tarot cards associate with Wiccan and Paganism.

If it doesn't matter, why did you even bother on bringing up you saying, "I won't brag on how many books I have on this matter though?" Sounds like you're trying to impress people with the fact that your blunt statement.

That was not my implication. You can perceive what you want but I will not continue to debate with some one so narrow minded in their statements. There's just no getting anywhere.

Also the paper is to write the letters ect on. Not for the planchette, glass or whatever you're using to move on, another one of your "observations".
