I don't like Squall because he just... bugged me. I didn't really think that he had that good of a reason to be so depressed, and the scenes where we get to watch him roll on his bed thinking about how depressed he is kind of bugged me. Also I didn't think he had that much going for him in the leader department yet he somehow became the leader anyway.

Squall's emo, and Cloud isn't? Lulz. Squall was abandoned as a child. When he grows up he fears if people get close to him, they will abandon him again, so he never socializes. He has every damn right to be depressed. Cloud on the other hand was depressed as a child into adulthood. The guy lacked confidence as well, leaving Tifa to push him for everything. He's a goddamn baby. He looks like one too, I guess that's why all you chicks like him so much.
