Some People Are Just This Stupid
I was having a conversation with this guy the other day about his 98 Acura Intergra. He has a shit load of money and basically just throws it on the car. He's got duel paint job consisting of ocean blue and green and a body kit.
Being me, I don't give a shit about the looks and asked what HP it was putting out and he said around 300 hp. I asked him what all he had done to it knowing (being the car knowing person i am) that a regular Integra has the B18 motor that gives out around 130 to 135 hp. When I asked him what he had done to it, he said he hadn't done anything to it.
So I went on with my series of questions about what kind of motor and and he didn't even know what kind of motor he had in the damn thing. Pathetic....
I told him it putting out 300 hp is bull shit and he kept arguing back yet he knows NOTHING about what is done to his car.
He came back the next day STILL arguing and said "Well I have the Type R motor and it puts out 195hp (depending on what motor you have of course considering the Type R is the type of intergra.
) And he went on to say "And that's before all the accessories IE (intake, suspension, body kit, etc)
that's when I started LOLing. This dude actually believes that suspension and body kit ADD horsepower to his car.
Long story short...I argued forever about how a body kit just modifies your down force and the looks. it doesn't make your car more powerful. I'm hoping to win 1000+ dollars when he takes it to the dyno and says I want my HP measured first without my body kit then with it (*insert dyno operators laughing at him here*) and the HP comes out almost exactly the same.
Yes, I bet that amount of money on it...because he has that amount of money and I know I can't lose to a person who doesn't know shit about cars.
