Dogs are pack animals, doing most everything together with their group. To become separated can mean literal life and death; while we seem to hold awe at the lone wolf, a lone wolf is usually a dead wolf.

I thank you for that. It's kind, though I'm sure it's a pain (at times, all the time.) Truly, I hope that cat will be blessed by Ra and Bast, 'cause ferals and outdoor cats need it - all non-human living creatures need it...
