Definitely recommend you seek out Archers of Loaf - Icky Mettle, that album is pretty much definitive 90s indie and absolutely made of win.

Also, try out The Submarines, No Use For a Name and mayhaps Cursive - The Ugly Organ.

Indie's fucking difficult.
