Chocobos in the Remake

I love the Crisis Core Chocobos, and I think that a little update to them would work just fine. I really do hope that we get to keep Chocobo breeding, but I think that you could make parts of it different than how it was done in FFVII and make it a little more fun and engaging, but there needs to be some random elements in it to really make it fun.

I, for one, am looking forward to crossing the marshes on a Chocobo and avoiding the Midgar Zolom.

FF7 has my favorite chocobo design of them all. I will also forever love that artwork with Cloud riding one with that smile on his face.

Whether they have a world map or just a wide open map (like Skyrim for example) I think it would be fine if when you come across chocobos, they're in groups of 3 or more, and all three of your party members out at the time get to ride one. That's like in XII, right? All three of your party members have chocobos? Or am I just imaging it?

Hell, make the bastards that couldn't catch their own chocobo run alongside Cloud while he rides. Serves 'em right for being lazy.

The CC chocobos were nice enough so they just need to touch it up a bit to meet graphical standards.

I'd like it if they could keep the expressiveness. Maybe the blue eyes too.

Yeah, I like those tail feathers waaay better than XIII's odd chocobos.
They do look pretty cute in this game, sort of how they look in IX (though IX was more chibified); I don't mind cute chocobos, and I like how big they are compared to Cloud in that original art.
I'd love to be wandering the wilds though and find some wild chocobos in the distance. Maybe you'd have to sneak up on them to catch them, and then wrangle/not let them buck you off right away to 'capture' one? Or put out some greens as bait first, then wrangle them down.
