RoosterTeeth do machinima, I don't think they'd need someone like him.


I heard stuff about how he was actually working for someone big, like Team Ninja or something or Namco.

Regardless, I enjoyed the ROAD series more because it wasn't so much a crossover fanservice than it was his own plot ideas and his circle of friends, which made it seem more tongue-in-cheek.

I actually think he expressed some exasperation at how his earlier stuff got no attention, then he does Haloid and DF for lulz and they shot him to the top. I think he was rather proud of his early stuff but since it didn't contain already established and well-loved characters the vast majority of people don't care. They want stuff they recognize.

Even though I actually do like a lot of his earlier stuff. It does seem much more fun.

But anyway, he works for Roosterteeth. Check his DA journal for more info. I'm not quite sure what he does there but that's where he is now. He says working there gives him a lot more freedom to do his own thing.

Figured out what Monty Oum was doing in Roosterteeth.

3:56. It's not that bad, much more toned down, and the differences from it and the actual in-game stuff can be noticed but all-in-all pretty neat. It's an interesting direction the Roosterteeth crew are taking and I'm interested to see how far they'll take it and how much of it they'll use in the future.

EDIT: It seems like they're weaning the viewers to this new animation thing they're doing and trying to pull it away from machinima, at least for the action scenes. Episode 4 was a little more in line with the sort of thing Monty would do, and it does at the very least solve the problem of putting multiple-colored dudes in the same vehicle.

Interesting. I haven't seen Red Vs Blue in years, having action scenes like that are certainly an idea.
Though I suppose that means no more billions of outtakes in trying to get the warthog to flip up onto top of the base from the tank blast, lol

Yeah it is, I guess he just rendered what we don't see. A tech demo of sorts I guess. His models do look better, that's for sure.

You think that's an older Denzel? Aw, so frickin' cute. I vaguely remember something about him having the characters being a bit older (particularly in regards to Kairi). Cloud really looks amazing. He did a great job with him.
