Going by the motion tracking markers around his eyes, it seems like CG eyes for the mask are confirmed.

I was pretty sure that was the case from the promo image, but the confirmation is excellent. I think that that's incredibly important to allowing him to emote appropriately.

Okay so I admit that I've never been super into Deadpool but Ryan Reynold's love for this character is infectious. I want to see this just because he's so passionate about it.

I think that Ryan Reynolds' demeanor and just presentation is perfectly suited for Deadpool, and his love of the content is really why I just can't wait for this. I don't read the Deadpool comics 'cause they're not really my cup 'o tea, but I love plenty of adaptations of content that I don't otherwise follow & enjoy (Avengers being the most notable).

In a lot of games actually. He's Marvel's go-to guy to voice. He and Ryan Reynolds are the only people to have played both Green Lantern and Deadpool.

I loved Deadpool's comic series from 1997, and generally enjoyed his prior appearances (he was a major jerk in his earliest appearances, though). At some point, though, the joke that is him outlived its welcome for me, and that was right about the time he became popular with folks in general (not just comic fans) and started appearing every fucking where. His overexposure is worse than Wolverine's ever saw the day to be.
