Time to move another project out of the ideas category and into the active category.
As there isn't always a lot of Final Fantasy news, we're going to have to make a fair bit of our own front page content. One easy way is to turn existing threads into articles.
Debates and polls are good candidate threads because they make everyone consider what their own opinion would be, which drives audience engagement. It's very easy to put a multiple choice poll on our Facebook page (which I'll do for now, in the absence of an appointed social network manager), people can comment on our articles, and of course, some might be tempted to sign up for the forum and take part in the threads themselves.
If you have a great idea for a poll or debate and want it to feature on the front page, just create a thread for it in (roughly) the first week of any month and either post here or send me a visitor message to make sure I see it. I'll pick one topic every month, or, if nobody suggests anything to me, I'll make up my own one. Like the odds or evens poll, which isn't the most interesting topic, but will do to start us off if nobody has any better ideas
The reason I want them to be created near the beginning of every month is so that I can publish the articles on a regular basis and so that we can discuss the results in a community podcast, which I'll organise at the end of the month. I'll try to make sure at least two people from opposite sides of the debate appear on the pod
