Satsu, I think that's a great idea - especially for people like Mumble and Bex (COUGHFIOTISCOUGH) who have written a TON of OVAs, it'd be nice to have them all in one or two posts so that we don't have to look all over for the ones we're trying to find.

Also. FINISHED THE HISTORY EXAM AWWW YEAH. Taking the rest of the day to slack off as hard as possible. There will be much OVA writing involved.

Why not have all the OVAs for the same CHARACTER in the same post?

That way it's still all in one place, but divided by character.

Speaking of that map, it looks like it needs to be refined. There are a few countries that came into being after the map was created.
Dare I say it, our geography books need a second printing.

I'd be happy to draw a new map, that includes the Xi Qin Empire and Shokaku among other things, if I get a rough guideline of their size and shape, and their placement latitude and longitude wise? I'm good with maps - I might go so far as to make an elevation and wind/water current map to go with it. Because I'm a geo nerd that way.

And yeah, Omega, that's a better idea.

And I assumed that Xi Qin was one of the Thalassan islands, myself, but I dunno where Mumble set it. :x

'kay, so I've just written up a table of contents for what will become a Compendium of basically EVERYTHING there is to know about Idris. Most of which I haven't even thought of yet, but just decided a while ago that it should be there for reference. You guys'll never ever get to see this because a) it's looking to be about twenty pages long, at least, and b) if you had it, it would be WAY too easy to read Idris. Need to keep a few surprises.
Also going to go back at some point in the summer and subtly edit all my posts to be stronger and more in-tune with one another. Needless to say I won't be changing anything that's referenced in other people's posts; if I retcon anything else that's important, I shall let you know.

I wasn't talking about renaming the countries. I was asking how they came up with the names in the first place. I was curious.

I am also all for the remake of the map (I still like the original though), because I dunno which island is for Maize since it's not part of Thalassa and the very few isolated islands aren't big enough for Maize. Since I dunno how to draw squat (or am still working on my pathetic skills), I might have to show you an example of what I think it looks like later Jenova.

Concerning the map boys and girls, Xi Qin and what was once the location of Shokaku are both on the central continents, which are a good distance away from and WAY bigger than Alvyssia. All we know as of now it contains the two nations i just mentioned as well as a dessie world equivalent of Russia that would be larger than Xi Qin. Tho overall a lot of the central continents is supposed to be ambiguous, as in most nations being left unnamed and the location of Shokaku is never revealed. So yeah, except Xi Qin and anything Hito chooses to have over there, leave everything else unnamed.

Reason being, the central continents are a place the dessie's are never meant to go to, it's a big shadow that looms over the world with it's never ending wars and mostly shrouded in mystery.
