Just out of curiosity, for the introduction of a new character would you prefer my character wakes up during the dream sequence or out-with the current saga and that way i can develop a backplot sideways from the current state of affairs?
I was thinking disgarded destrillian kept in cryo during the major events and being awoken due to the unit being stolen from the military?

The military don't get hold of any Destrillians, perhaps someone or something else stole it from the Viola facility itself back when the company fell? (Or from Viola staff trying to make off with a dessie to sell or do their own work on or something..)

I was kinda doing the intro as him awakening into the aftermath of a battle between the military and a group of human mercs with his cryo-unit being damaged by gunfire and as a result he gets woken up alone and seperate from the main plot.
Guess i could always change it from military broad spectrum to private military force.

I could imagine that a Private Military Company would have apprehended a cryogenically frozen Destrillian when facility 2 shut down. Maybe they kept him for research and study or whatever, bnut that idea seems entirely good and workable.

Dang it, I just realised I missed a chance to start a meme. And I'm still wondering if anyone's getting the theme-naming going on with the Animus program doctors scientists...

I've also realised I forgot to post Early's bio on the wikia. I'll give myself a memo to get it up this Saturday. (I'd do it now, but I really don't trust my dial-up connection not to have a nervous breakdown dealing with editing the wikia and posting on the forums.)
