An idea for an actual Destrillian occurred to me over the weekend... ;.; Why couldn't this idea have come to me back in March...?
A time-manipulating Dessie (codenamed Tempus, surprisingly). And yes, it occurred to me that could be too powerful, and I came up with a logical flaw in the power.
By slowing/stopping the flow of time around him, he would also affect several physical laws (well, duh). Unfortunately for him, this would include the laws regulating heat (thermodynamics) and a breathable atmosphere. Quite simply, as he slowed time down, the ambient temperature would drop, and the atmosphere would become thinner.
Of course, this would logically lead to him only being able to freeze time for as long as he could hold his breath (not to mention withstanding increasingly hostile temperatures - theoretically, without thermodynamics, it would quite quickly drop to absolute zero).
The closest I've come to consolation over this is that Alex already claimed gravity, and gravity distorts time to noticeable degrees even within Earth's atmosphere.

I FINALLY HAVE A LAPTOP...sort of. Ish. It's shit slow, half-destroyed (and I mean half the keyboard's missing and the screen is floppy kind of destroyed,) and uses IE.
Fml.
Read the discussion thread - WHY DO YOU PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED TO BE WITTY WHEN I'M GONE THIS HAPPENED LAST TIME TOO FFFFFF.
I'll have to thank so many posts later... you know, when I actually have a mouse or a half-way working touchpad to use.
I'll get to reading the posts this evening at some point. In other news, all of the chibis which I got reference for are finished - printing out references for Early and the Wolfe Pack tonight, and they should be done in a day or two. We'll see if the tablet works on one of their REAL computers, once they finally finish re-connecting them all.
Gonna go look at the Dacon pics now.
(Also, I've got...surprises, for you all when I'm back and I have a scanner. You'll enjoy, promise~)
