Guess who's at home due to illness?

Because I slept for five extra hours yesterday, I was awake until about one in the morning - I spent most of it sprawled on my bed with my notebook and my globe, with the desk-light on in the background, coming up with Destrillians stuff.

Breakfast and shower and then I'm typing it all up!

Guess who's at home due to illness?

Because I slept for five extra hours yesterday, I was awake until about one in the morning - I spent most of it sprawled on my bed with my notebook and my globe, with the desk-light on in the background, coming up with Destrillians stuff.

This weekend has had a real Destrillian tangent to most things for me. In order of them coming to my attention...

1) Picked up an Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic (local comic store's recently rennovated and are still waiting for their stock to be replenished) on Saturday. Reading through it, I came across this exchange:

AMY: "You're as shady as they come!"

ROUGE: "No worse than Fiona, and you let her on your team!"

Bonus points for them having just been joined by a tsundere pyrokinetic. (Who isn't Fiona, BTW, it's Blaze. No idea who Fiona is. Hardly read the Archie comics, the Fleetway Sonic the Comic was far superior.)

2) Got an e-mail from a friend of mine who keeps his ear to the ground where all things sci-fi, fantasy and horror are concerned. Neil Gaiman's Dr Who episode has a character called Idris in it. OMG.

2) Got an e-mail from a friend of mine who keeps his ear to the ground where all things sci-fi, fantasy and horror are concerned. Neil Gaiman's Dr Who episode has a character called Idris in it. OMG.

I think I just weed a little.

Though this might just be my standard reaction to all things Gaiman.
