um basically I used the word "Basic" like they do in Star Wars, it's a placeholder for the word 'English', because, y'know, they don't have the necessary origins for a word like that.

Obvious reference was obvious. I had wondered what the language of Alvyssia was called myself. If we stick with Basic, it might be worth at some point deciding on its region of origin.
