Well, in FFX their powers could be considered work of the machina, the fayth, or some waaaacky combination of the two. Maybe the Destrillians are aeons? Or fiends, even?

I had considered those sorts of things, too (but... ye gods, not in so much DEPTH... it seems you might be a FFX nerd in the same way I'm a FFIX nerd
). Again, it would have been an alternative origin, and they'd have been proto-Fayths (I wouldn't have called them that, but that's the general idea...), or possessed by Aeons.

...But while I'm below average on fighting games, I'm truly hopeless with shooters. I have co-ordination difficulties, so I can't handle both analogue sticks at once. The only shooters I've ever been any good at are
Goldeneye007 and
Perfect Dark on the N64. Now, THERE was a controller built for shooters.
Anyway, I have an idea for my non-Christmas Christmas OVA. I mean, it's an OVA I'm writing for Christmas, but it's nothing to do with Christmas or winter, so... gah.
It's a little tale involving some of the Dessie characters if they were children's book characters! XD The idea is somewhat inspired by Sienna's chibified versions of the characters. The dialogue is going to be the somewhat overly formal,
Little Nemo in Slumberland style. "Oh my, I do not like this! No, I do not!" sort of thing.
The notable exceptions are Terra and Fiona (the latter
will incinerate cupids and tell people to STFU).
The one I'm going to do first is Donnie Early searching for Kade Wyndham. He'll come across several characters in his search for Kade (Vier is learning a foreign language! Stolz's house is topsy-turvey! Idris offers to lend Donnie a wig!), and a great deal of family-friendly fun will be had (except when Fiona swears).
But the thing is... what do we call the chibified characters? I'm currently thinking "Des-chibi-ans", but I'll
desperatelygladly take any better suggestions!!
