Btw Joe - do barriers block out the influence of Destrillians outside the barrier? Ex: if Lokka created a barrier that was say, five feet in diameter, and basically formed a dome shape - would Thetis be able to manipulate the water inside that barrier if she is outside the barrier herself?

Pretty sure the whole concept was that the barriers stopped ALL exterior influences.
Including being able to communicate telepathically.

Not 100% sure, but I'd hazard a pretty good guess that Joe wouldn't come down on the side of his character's power being completely nerfed like that.

However, the revelation that barriers aren't porous, and thus block out air (contrary to what one would immediately assume) is reason enough to clarify beforehand.

Well, if any of you have been reading my posts in the What Pisses You Off thread, this'll come as little surprise, but I'm having to pull out of the meet-up. Unfortunately, as I was sent home ill the week before last, and my new glasses cost more than I expected, it will make my financial buffer (i.e., the "when shit goes wrong" fund) next to zero by the end of April (approx. £25, which any UK resident will tell you isn't enough for an emergency fund).

I can't express how much I want to meet-up with y'all (well... Bex, Alex, Adri and Joe in this case...), but it'd be irresponsible of me to do so under the circumstances. And if I did come up, I'd just be stressing over the money the whole time.
