So guys.
Someone posted in one the dramallamalulz threads that maybe the RP section could/should/would like some frontpage representation on the TLS site proper. And since, let's be honest here, Destrillians IS the RP forum (
), that would be us lot.
Is this something we're interested in/not interested in/anyone have any thoughts or reasoning behind their opinion on the matter, be it yea or nay?
Also keep in mind the website that the Jemmathing is/will be constructing, as it may or may not be a factor in your opinion re: the TLS thing.
ed: also, we are now 36 posts from being the subforum with the 10th highest post count...and this disgusts me because we should honestly be higher up the list than 10 anyway

No but seriously, exposure on the frontpage could bring about TONS of curious people. The website is more to host the final, edited version; Destrillians is still, for the moment, one colossal WIP, and I think it suits it better to be represented here for now.

The OTHER good news is that now I have a lot more time to get stuff done. I've got all three Wolfe Pack chibis inked and also laid out their colour schemes; they'll be done by tonight. <3

On the subject on front paging Destrillian, personally I'm not keen on it. The current state of Aftermath is a mess requiring a major overhaul and Awakening's getting a retcon makeover, hence I'm hesitant about promoting as all people will be seeing is two fractured stories that don't correlate with each other and suffer from inconsistencies which in turn will probably only confuse people.
So yeah I'm not for the idea as I'd rather we only go promoting on any level when it's all organized and in the way we truly intend to show it. (even if that will take a good deal of time).
Now onto the subject of the Lemonade post, at this point it should be clear to all parties involved that there is little chance of us all being online at the same time due to timezones, work etc. So pretty much in order to get things rolling again I propose we go with the method of whoever's move it is just write when you're online then the next person will react when they are on and so forth. Currently Adri informs me we are waiting on Keeno....so please can you go write something in there and the rest of us will respond? =D
If that can be done sometime very soon it would be muchly appreciated so we can get a move on and clear this part so the Chateau fights can happen (which some have already been written and are now just waiting).
Also while I'm here, Joe did you speak with Scott about working out Castiel's entrance to the fight, as I need that done so I can adjust the starting bit to account for it. Cheers

Sorry for my absence for a while (esp. to the Limnades posse) - I've only been online a couple of times in the past week to check my emails. My monthly access limit is getting pretty low, plus my mind's been a bit over the place. Grab me any time I'm on next week (or send me a threatening VM, PM or email), and I'll try to push through it.
In the meantime, I found a manga clipart set that I had gotten free with an artbook ages ago. So here's a caricature of Kaden as a dog boy (colours not quit spot on, but nvm).
And about front paging us, I share Dale's concerns. Which, along with his avatar, is no reason for him to start flashing a smug smile.

MY GOD.
It's nearly impossible; I totally forgot how many characters you have to take into consideration. I was halfway through it before remembering Telran's story starts about a week before the Motel fight.

The timeline imo is a potential clusterfuck; I think taking everyone's individual arcs into consideration is going to lead to some real inconsistencies. I really wish I could think of an easy solution, but my brain is escaping me atm and I don't have the legs to chase after it.

In regards to the site, I don't mind the developments of the series but Dale's right, we should reorganize the story first before we go public. We wouldnt want any inconsistencies now, we gotta do this first if we're to make things great for Destrillians.
We could use...ahem... Kamble/Kano's assistance (being the wiki overlord and all) for the timeline. Although to be fair, we need to resolve this as a group and help each other resolve our respective character's timelines.

@Dale, now that I look at it that way, I can see exactly what you mean - we need to really clean things up before we present it to people who haven't been there every step of the creative-process-way, or else there'll just be massive confusion.
I HAVE A THING WHICH MIGHT HELP WITH THIS.
Our dearest Jemma has pretty much finished Destrillians now; I think she only has like, the newest post to read up on. And that girl has looooooots of ideas on what to change and how and why. Finally, impartial opinion. So at some point we'll find out what she thought was utter insanity and what ought to be fixed/removed/moved/changed/etc, and that can be part one to our edits.
I do, however, believe that the thing shouldn't be edited until we're at a decent place to go back AND EDIT IT. Because that's going to take a little while - not as long as writing everything in the first place, because editing can be a pretty solo job, but the sheer mass of stuff we have is going to make it difficult.
Oh also, be warned - there are probably entire posts that will go out the window. XD

Bye Bex I know part of the Tellers timeline is borked because people kept changing how long the party was in the wilderness; Alessa dies day of motel, he buries her the next day, then leaves for Villnore; he then hangs about until the party shows up, but it may need to be changed slightly because he's only supposed to be in Villnore for two days and nights, meeting the party his third night there
