I like to think Sierra and Erthys disappeared in a phantasmagorical magic explosion during the climactic escape scene where the Destrillians have an epic standoff aboard a giant cargo plane set to self-destruct.
I think I'm actually serious about this, although you guys can come to your own conclusions about what happened
But yeah, Erthys and Sierra aren't dead, just... on a higher plane of existence and completely unreachable from the current physical world. Or something. I dunno. Fuck. I might slot them into a voiceover-like cameo but that would be so cheesy
It all boils down to the fact that lightning and wind are both free to use, although practical applications of wind could be potentially badass (it reminds me of those two blind dudes from Kung Fu Hustle)

EDIT: Also perhaps if new characters with elemental powers are joining they should preferably be
not Destrillians, I mean it's not a big issue but it just feels wierd going "hey remember me" "OHHH right you're that dude we met three floors up and never actually remembered up until now"
