Destrillians: R2 - Discussion

Pretty much, its also to slot stories that don't hold much relevance to the main story or wouldn't fit for whatever reason, such as I'd like to write one about Eve in the past, yet I can't do a flashback in the main story because she is dead and it would not make much sense to suddenly have something written from her perspective, if you follow what I'm getting at.

We'll set two classes of OVA then. Canon and non-Canon. I'm making a Canon one at the moment, maybe I might make a highschool non-canon trilogy as well, so I'm gonna have to borrow a shit ton of characters.

So, I've more or less read up on Dessies. I'll be working on the rest of my bio and my first R2 post all of today, especially since I have off from work! Fiona's almost back. :}

Alright, I am almost done with my character/locations/trivia! I have two questions though:

1. I've noticed that some people put sound and other things not usually associated with elements for powers. I take it that Elementals are just a word for any sort of out there powers for the Destrillians? Are there any elements that I shouldn't associate my character with (basically off limits)?
2. Once I started making my secondary character, I kinda felt like making her a main character. Can you be able to turn your secondary person into a main one over time in the story? I ask because I don't want to handle two people at once. I'm still a beginner and that would be overwhelming. I thought once I get the hang of it, I'd try doing two characters. Also, what are the limits for secondary? Like you can't control what other writers do to them in the story? Can they also have powers or is that just for main?

I realize now that that's more than two questions, but I want to make sure before I set anything in stone, you know? This past week has been great, what with reading all the interesting info you guys come up with. I'm all for the OVA's too. I can't wait to show you guys my players.

I would say that most of the powers are synonymous with FF magic - elements and the like.
Yes you can do the thing with two characters, I'm sure no-one would mind.

I need to kick my own ass and get working. History project got an extension so I have time tonight to write up a post; I'll report back in a little while with an outline.

As for animation, YES PLZ. Now I wish I could actually animate... damn.

Kram looks pretty much exactly as I imagined him; peppy "I'M A HERO LET'S DO THIS LEEROY JENKINS" sort of guy. Stolz is adorable and yet I find something sinister about 'er.

Gonna spoiler-tag my Dessipedia today because I never got around to it. XD

As for OVAs, that's a marvelous idea! I've always wanted to write stuff about Idris' family before (and maybe a little bit after) her abduction but it's never fit with the plot, even just as a flashback. Opportunity strikes!
