I've been interested in trying out RP for some time now; but the thing is, I have absolutely no knowledge of how to RP, and the most experience I've had was one-liner RP. I haven't actually gotten a chance to read the RP itself yet. Is there anything I have to do before I start reading the RP, or can I just go ahead with that?

Just go ahead and read the RP, so you get a feeling and understand how far the story is and how to take your characters forward. Then just create your profile in the thread I directed you to, you can update the profile whenever you want in the future to add new characters or trivia on how ya made them.

Nah. I started being kinda interested back when Bex made her RP, but just cba to join. Now I kind of want some kind of hobbylike activity, since the one I used to have is no more.

RPing is pretty much just creative writing on steroids - if you can write creatively and in a fun way then you have most of what RPing is about already in the bag.
The rest of what RPing is about is about reading the source material and creating a character and their actions in line with the lore. And, as you can see, discussing as much as is possible with the rest of the RPers is crucial.

2 in season 1 I used gods, plural when referring to a deity in sentences. Don't really wanna go into any more detail concerning religions honestly...

Crack and Omega, great to see you two are interested

There are a few RP tutorials kicking around this section to help you on your way, but most of all communication with the other RP members is what is most crucial. It's really recommended that you read as much as possible from the resource thread and the actual RP, it'll give you an idea of how to actually go about writing for an RP and the story itself.

Everyone here is more than enthusiastic enough to answer any questions you might have too.

sry, I butted in. My bad. I really want to get Early into the main storyline from the sidelines. And then possibly formulate a messy death for him.

Also, I've posted some of my lexicon in the resource thread, I hope it's of interest to you guys. I'm also try and get a list of major NPCs in my arc done for next weekend. It's all going to flow into the main story, like a tributory joining a major river...

The first season does help a bit, but things have changed so it's also a good idea to read up on the resources thread to see what's happened since then and stuff.

Yeah, I always use the resource thread for season 2 reference, really, but in case there's anything that I want to relate to the escape, then I obviously go through the first RP thread.

Yeah, definitely read Awakening of a new breed aswell, mostly to get an idea of the original background and understand everything so you don't go writing anything that might end up contradicting what's already happened.

Also crack, if you do feel like joining, before posting anything first up just let myself or Alex know what you've planned via PM so we can see if there's any contradictions.
