Deus Ex: Human Defiance

i enjoyed Human Revolution but, in comparison to the original, it was a tad light on the RPGing and the freedom.

I'll get the next one in a second, but i don't want to have to put up with awful boss battles and I want a level of freedom to rival TES....that would be my dream Deus Ex.

To be fair, I think a sandbox would be excessive and would likely dilute the character depth, much like what happened in Skyrim.

I wouldn't mind boss battles, but like Yahtzee Croshaw said, they should be more indicative of what the player's learned during the course of the game and should be properly fleshed-out and characterised. They should also have more creative level design that allows for multiple options to beat them, or with enough skill be able to skip them entirely.

Well played on their part. They didn't say it had been cancelled though, just that "Human Defiance" was trademarked as a potential title for the next entry in the series and then the title was dropped, not the game. Then they decided to use it as an April Fool's joke. We got trolled good.

Now I'll do the right thing and let this thread die
