Kinda hard to believe they didn't kill a single Onion Knight while they ran through the entire facility and were being gang raped by dozen of Magitek soldiers in proto-armor.

Kinda hard to believe Terra Branford killed a child or let her friends kill one in front of her.

The soldiers in the Magitek factory are treated as a pretty big deal, most of them can use magic and in FFVI that actually means something. Shinra MP are fodder that use lol, get this, guns.

I doubt the Returners saw a bunch of kids as a big enough threat to feel the need to go completely OOC and kill them. Maybe knock them off, but not kill!

Makoeyes was defending the assertion that they weren't to careful considering all the other enemies that were swarming the vicinity. And your argument supoorts that, just Terra's normal Fire can wipe out 30 Magitek Knight in three minutes storywise, the stuff that you are capable of doing by the time you enter Magitek Research Facility should destroy pretty much the entire room you're in. They would need to be extremely tiptoeing careful if for them to not kill any of them. I don't think they could've afforded to do that.

Not hard to believe that the Empire would use children as tools of war -- 'cause we know they did with both Terra and Celes -- but also not hard to believe that the Returners wouldn't have used lethal force in that situation.
