Synopsis:
Aliens have been forced to come to earth, they cannot leave as their ships are trashed and they cant fix them, they're segregated and treated like shit.

Based off this short film


Peter Jackson is producing it

Supposedly this is the directer who might be doing the Halo movie if it ever comes to pass.


I'm really interested to see this. I'm loving the concept, tho I think the documentary style of filming might get to me slightly, wanting a bit more of a traditional movie. but still, it looks great

Nice, especially with the translation.

The concept is indeed highly intriguing, and I hope it is executed in a memorable way.
Though if I were to be realistic, my guess would be that any contact between humans and aliens would be impossible without new illnesses as a result. It will be like the europeans meeting the native americans, only MUCH much worse.
That's just a guess though.

Looks rather interesting, actually. Of course, the aliens are always treated like shit, which isn't a very original concept, tbh.

Also, lulz at that site, looks very cheap :monster:. Trying the test now, although I fail at math.

A friend of mine, together with my help, managed to get 9/10.

Fascinating also how all these sites give these little details on the mythology of District 9. For example, the aliens landed on April 14th 1989.
August 2009 will mark the reverse engineering of non-human technology, or something like that. And there are all these jobs you can sign up for. For example, "non-human dental hygienist". :monster:

I'm with Cthulthu - math is not my strong point. I suck, in other words.

If anyone gets a perfect score, I'd be interested in seeing how it progresses, too. :)

As for this movie - it looks interesting! Sad, though; I hope the aliens get away from this world.

Well I think I already said something about being very interested in District 9 somewhere else on the forum, cba to remember. I've been following this since the beginning of the year or whenever they first announced this and want to see it shortly after it comes out.
