I've known about the Dalton thing for ages. Can't wait to see the final special, it should be well good.

Less thrilled about Matt Smith's new getup but hey,I'm sure it'll grow on me.

the blue is far more like the original policeboxes and indeed the original hartnell era tardis exterior but as it was filmed in black and white you just couldn't tell the colours.

he is damn sexy. in a troughton retro-esque way.

Concur with this. I don't mind the inside of TARDIS being remodeled but the outisde should stay the same.

And Dalton eh? Sounds good. :awesome:

the outside has been changed as regularly as the actor so i don't mind the change, infact i think the re-appearence of the st johns ambulance badge and white window frames is a nod to old who's awesomeness.

The new Dr has a retro look, that's true... Gotta see how this works xD And the new companion looks so cute! I'm amazed XD I loved all the previous companions, so I'm hoping she'll be as good as them XD

The Master dies all the time. Never seems to stop him.

Same with the Doctor for that matter.

Bdsm eh?

Sorry, My Master just came over his Master coming back.
In BDSM, Master is one of the honorifics some people use to describe the dominant partner or "owner" in a Master/slave relationship. Because it is an honorific of the dominant form, it is usual for it to be written with a capital letter.
It might also be used by the submissive partner as an honorific term in a D/s relationship. This can cause confusion when trying to understand BDSM terminology as both "Master" and "slave" might be used - as terms of endearment - even though neither considers himself to be owned nor owner.
Some people enjoy the connotations of servitude or submission in calling their partner "Master", or being called "Master". To others, the ritual of such a formal mode of address may be appealing. It may also be useful in building roles in which one partner or the other may indulge in sadistic or masochistic desires, although people living as Master and slave are not necessarily sadomasochistic.
Usage of "Master" in most BDSM environs does not imply any specific expertise, abilities, or formal training. To successfully maintain a Master/slave relationship takes abilities and skills beyond or apart from normal relationship skills.
The term "Master" can be gender-independent but is mostly used only in reference to males. There is otherwise no male-specific equivalent. The female equivalent is "Mistress" or possibly dominatrix.
Although the Master is understood to have authority over the slave in some sense, this never extends to one's legal rights and thus there must always be an implicit element of consent involved.

the comicon trailer for the end of time looks pretty good, plus it confirms, for me anyway, the reappearence of the timelords. mainly as dalton, who we know plays a timelord, is discussing bad dreams before the world ended.

everyone on the doctor who forum i'm at thinks that the master that died at the end of TLOTTL was a human/timelord metacrisis i.e. the donna doctor/doctor donna. hence why he couldn't regenerate. and that the proper master escaped by teleporting elsewhere. the bad dreams could be the result of the archangel network still under his control and that the thing that is "coming back through the darkness" is gallifrey itself. hidden in the void like the daleks did.

all in all looking forward to a new doctor, loving the retro vibe and can't wait for DT to bugger off. getting bored of him now.
