Hello. I apologize if this isn't the place to post this, but I genuinely have no idea where else to go about this. If you know of a better place to ask, pls let me know... Anyways, I was looking through eBay listings and happened upon this charming little blobby plush of "Cloud".
The weird body with odd little nubs, completely incorrect hairstyle, his expression, the FF3 logo w/ random FF8 fanart(?) on the back... It's amazing.
The listing has more pics... I almost didn't wanna share it cause I sort of love this thing and am considering buying it but I would be stupid not to. You really need to look at all the images... I used google lens on the inner tag and it seems to be a tag from a tomy pikachu plush???
I tried So hard to research this thing, maybe find more info about FF7 bootlegs, but all I can find is the original plush it's ripping off: this Advent Children Cloud from 2006.
This thing is so cute and bug-eyed... I would love the real deal but I'm just so mesmerized by the bootleg. I wanted to know if anybody has any info at all, or even just knowledge of similar knockoffs? If anything, I'd just be interested to see if there are any other final fantasy ripoffs from the time or that look similar to this one. There's no way this is some sort of weird one of a kind bootleg, there HAVE to be more of these in existence somewhere...
