I watched a few Drrr episodes last night (and commented on pretty much everything to Audi in an MSN convo). OMG. I'M IN LOVE WITH SHIZUO. He had me at punching that guy's clothes off.

As I was watching, I was trying to imagine the American voices to the characters and I still think that JYB is a bad idea for Izaya. I imagine him to sound more... devious or something. (LOL. That probably doesn't make a lot of sense. )

Definitely agreed that JYB will never match up to the Japanese version of Izaya... I mean, I suppose JYB was a pretty okay Adachi but otherwise he sounds like Lelouch in every role he plays in.

I don't think he was even that great a Lelouch.

Which sucks for the rest of his roles

Why are the highschool kids being portrayed by old people? ; ___ ; that's all I'm whining about, I mean it can't hurt to try out for some new talents like what they did for Baccano.

Considering that even some of the old, experienced people sound horrible, what's new blood with nothing under their belt going to sound like?

Baccano had a good set of VAs if you ask me, they could do the same with the highschool kids. But I like Crispin Freeman as Shizuo. KEEP HIM.
