Was Dissidia at the show? I've heard literally nothing about it. I know there was that English trailer a couple weeks before E3, but I thought I heard somewhere it was playable at the show but nothing.

Gametrailers have made zero mention of it in any of their E3 awards (you'd expect it to show up for best PSP game or to be mentioned in PSP's nomination for best lineup)

Ghost has been vaporware for years man. You won't ever see it again unless someone picks it up and finishes it. I hope they do cuz I'd like a new stealth action game besides Metal Gear.

EDIT: Did anyone hear the Echoes of War track from Eminence that was based off Starcraft: Ghost music? I thought that was awesome partially because it reinstated my faith that Blizzard hadn't completely forgotten about it =P

Yeah, watched it for a bit. It was nice, had a good style and whatnot so it would most likely be ranked 'above average' by most. But definitely not one of the greats (Halo (sales), Half-life, Doom, Cod).

In related news, the trials surrounding DNF revealed that Take-Two had the unannounced game Duke Nukem Begins under development, scheduled for release mid-2010. This (the rights for it) was some sorta compensation for the 2.5 million they invested in the development of DNF, but I cba to translate the whole article.

Also, again in other news, rumour has it that Max Payne 3 will be released at the end of October.

I wasn't surprised about the Alan Wake deal during E3, but Max Payne 3 by... this October?

That would have meant that they were developing the game years before they announced it, which means they were purposely holding out on us. I don't like the implications

MP3 is being developed by a completely different studio.

Remedy isn't involved at all, Alan Wake is their only current project.
