Well the Sega stream has already started. Crossing my fingers they'll show Sonic before XII.

Also crossing fingers they won't show Sonic while I'm away from my desk...

I was astounded to learn that out of the original soundtrack, only two of the tracks were actually recorded live! Some of the songs do have a synthesized sound in the game (Theme of the Empire, I'm looking at you), but on the actual soundtrack, you don't get any of that, so yeah... I was completely fooled.

But the snippets of rerecorded score we've heard so far are just simply marvelous!

Can't complain, they did show some new stuff.

Uh Sakaguchi's on stream right now talking about classic FF 0_0

It was promo for Brave Exvius, he was just chatting about what it was like to be a creator and a fan at the same time and how after he made the games any further stuff he wasn't ever involved with.

Was kinda weird tbh

Whilst I really enjoyed Sonys conference of "shut up and look at all this shit coming out for our console!" I was expecting to see something about the next major firmware update.

Sony did roll out surveys a while back asking PS4 owners what they would like to see and it was leaked earlier last moth that the next update would bring folders to the console.

Would have thought something would have been shown at E3.

I kind of feel if they underline something a lot of people consider as a necessity at a big Expo years after the console came out it might actually be seen as a negative to prospective new buyers.

"Wait you really couldn't sort out your library and XMB till now?... what else is missing".

Idk. I just feel like while awesome and I hope it's true putting something like that at a big event might actually highlight the PS4's shortcomings. Where as just releasing it in patch notes would relatively fly under the radar aside from the odd article here and there and non-casual core gamers taking note of it.

^Definitely. I don't think anybody's ever spent time at an E3 conference talking about firmware for that exact reason. A firmware update, I mean. Unless it's substantial.

Finally got to watch some of the stuff from the conference. Force got me pretty well caught up in what was of note. I have to say, I really did like how Sony structured their conference. Trailers, trailers, trailers, and so little talking. Perfect, in my opinion.
