Or they show nothing (besides re-releases / ports of other games) and in a year or two we finally get an official word that the project has been delayed,

Despite that I'm most likely wrong, KH3 has more of a chance in showing up at this year's E3 than FFVII:Remake, because 1, KH3's been in development before FFVIIR, and 2, Kingdom Hearts 3's in near completetion whereas FFVIIR is much, much, much larger.

Not to mention that it'll have new story content, plus some content from the Compilation which they're struggling with at the moment(though in best/worse case scenario, I think it'll be a good idea to go back and look up all of their previous FFVII protects to get a better idea on which parts to put into the Remake and which to not-Most logical way I can think of).

To be honest, and let's hope that I'm wrong about this one, the game itself could be in, as what developers in both movies and games call it, "Development Hell".

Edit: Okay, so maybe they'll show off new images regards to the Remake(though not E3 since it's less than three weeks away), but if Square Enix show off another spin off title of Kingdom Hearts after 2.8's release and say that I have to wait for two more years for KH3, I will seriously scream.

I do think we'll see something. They'll mention XV but what else can they really show? there must be three hours worth of trailers for it already. I feel like if i know anymore about it there won't be a point in playing it. I already know Noctis' dad dies, all of the characters, what most of the world looks like, the general plot.. Not interested in KH but if they where to show that and a short trailer for VII, maybe showing Tifa or Aeris, it would keep the hype train going, and we'd all have stuff to talk about. Will also give the nutty feminists chance to give it publicity by moaning about how short her skirt is or how big her tits are.

Square have revealed their E3 lineup, and FFVIIR isn't part of it.

As another member mentioned in the other E3 thread, the "grand finale" last year was essentially just people saying kthnxbai, so that's likely not the case.

That being said there's a bunch of trailer line-ups, so maybe we'll get another trailer squeezed in somewhere, but it doesn't seem all that likely.

This year's E3 is probably all about FFXV, which is kinda sad because they already had an entire event dedicated to the game not long ago, and honestly am getting kind of sick and tired with how they're marketing it at the moment.
They don't need to hit me over the head anymore with how it's the best FF ever over and over again.
I've seen everything I could possibly wish to see of it before release, and more really than I need or even want.

I get that they don't want to overshadow the game upon release by hyping FFVII:R. but seriously though, they need to chill the fuck out with FFXV.
At this point I can almost feel my anti-social inner self going "Fuck you SE, if you're going to be that annoying about it, I'm not going to play the game just to spite you".

I watched your big ffxv event, I've preordered your limited edition game, fucking shut up about it! They need to really be showing a new character. One, because of hype train. But also it gets people talking about play arts figures and all the merchandise.

I think they'd be silly to not have anything at all about the Remake. :closedmonster: As for it not being shown on a schedule, it wasn't shown on the schedule when it was announced to be in the making last year either. :monster:
I like to hope that they'll show a few extra characters or something as a surprise, though that's wishful thinking probably. Really I'd just like to see some more news on it, no matter what kind of news.

So E3 starts tonight and if anything from what I've seen this last week/month. This years E3 is going to be predictable.

I was saying to friends at work that Microsoft will announce a partnership with Occulus so they can be a contender in the VR area that is growing. Some game play for the new Gears of War.

Playstation will be all about their PSVR console showing a whole bunch of games, I personally would love to see Elite Dangerous for PSVR. It's the reason I haven't picked that game up on XBONE just yet.

EA Tonight should have Mass Effect Andromeda news as well as game play for teh new Battlefield game and then ALL THE SPORTS GAMES EVAH!!

Bethesda might announce they're working on TES: VI but for now will be discussing year 2 DLC for Fallout 4 and of course Skyrim remaster for current gen consoles possibly with VR implemented in to it (also the small for fallout 4)

UIbisoft, I swear if I see Lana again this year I will drink my self in to a coma, these guys are just all about clichés these past few E3s, We might get a look at next years Assassin's creed game but more than likely it'll be a quick 30 second CGI trailer. Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be the center of attention with these guys along with year 2 of The Division.

What I don't understand is why companies have started showing off trailers a week or two before the actual conferences. It's ruining the surprise. I know some of them have been leaks (looking at you Destiny). but it is ruining some of the hype.

I've probably missed stuff but yeah, I think this years will be predictable to say the least, There will be some surprises that we won't expect, I just hope they're good!

also if you guys are doing a post-E3 podcast, Count me in :monster:

I think it's to show fans who are unable to be at the E3 Conference or are in other countries in the world for at least some of them since not everyone is able to afford in even getting a plane ticket.

I won't be able to go because I have studies(though today's a day off due to the Queen's Birthday), I didn't have the money to go to America, and well, it's too late for me to go now.

I was just surprised that they showed both World of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, because I wasn't expecting either of them to show up at the E3 this year. It's even more surprising that both of them, like Final Fantasy XV, are getting WorldWide releases too.

The press conferences are always before E3, on Sunday and Monday.

All the conferences are already being livestreamed anyway.

Also, E3 is not for general audiences, it's an industry event and you need either an industry or press pass to get in. The conferences also require separate invitations.

I just need another short trailer showing Tifa and Aerith in the slums. That would hold me for a while
