Same thing they tried to do to Oddworld Inhabitants. Toss them some money, commission them for a few games. And then for "some reason" give it no marketing, release it the same week as its biggest competitors and then buy them out once they are in the hole
Maybe, but I read the Kotaku piece on the situation with Visceral's Star Wars game and how they both Micro-Mismanaged it and how EA Macro-Mismanaged it. The situation is actually a pretty good story on how everyone looks bad , No one liked working with Amy , Visceral only had like 10 seconds worth of test animation after 3 years of work, EA didn't want to hire any more Visceral employees because they were based out of an area that pays double the normal salary. It just keeps going, that whole thing was a real clusterfuck
