Errors, mistakes, and general fuck ups.

So after watching through ACC, I noticed that they managed to pick up on the Tifa glove thing, however the summon materia on Kadaj is STILL blue. >;C

I haven't noticed much else because those were the main things I was looking for, but did anyone else notice something wrong the first time that they neglected to fix?

The Kadaj materia is still blue because it was just meant to be blue.

It makes sense in a way actually. The great materia used to create Bahamut ZERO was the same tone of blue.
Also, I might be wrong, but I think the handle of the short dagger-like sword still looks different in the scene where Cloud arrives at the Bahamut battle (when the swords pop out of the bike (in ACC, it's after he saved Denzel and Tifa)).

Ah, I remember something. In the Highway Chase, there's a very brief moment in which Cloud's sword disappears then reappears. They didn't fix that for ACC.

The fucking colors were just for gameplay's sake. They have different colored materia in DC too. Colors are hardly consistent so stfu

I was gonna say that. I was looking forward to seeing them fix that. Did they somehow miss it again?


And does it really matter what color the materia is? It's Final Fantasy, not everything has to be consistent. Cloud can fly, Tifa can be suspended in mid-air and scream "Denzel!" while she's at it, Yuffie can climb somewhere really high by just running, Vincent can turn into a blobbish thing, he can walk with those shoes, Aerith is omnipresent (and possibly omnipotent), Cloud is seemingly immortal (no, really), his hair never went down even in the rain, Yuffie jumps around and not one materia falls from her grasp, Loz and Yazoo somehow get their bikes automatically right after battling with Reno and Rude, Tseng and Elena somehow lives, Sephiroth comes back gayer for Cloud than ever...

What's a little materia color to those?

Wait, where does his sword go through the ground? I just looked at it, but can't really see it.

Oh, they also fixed the back of Sephiroth's head. At the beginning of the final fight, when he's talking, the back of his head is actually visible through his hair and it looked really weird. It's fixed in ACC.

Sword sinking?

Materia color isn't consistent even in game. Several times, you will pick up a materia that it one color on the map, and a completely different class from that color.

I'm looking at it in ACC but to me it really looks like his sword is touching the ground with the tip sliding off to the right instead of going through it.

...yup, it's definitely sinking into the ground there. But not in ACC from what my eyes are telling me.

It would look that way (and it's probably meant to be sliding off), but the way the sword is angled makes it look more like it's sinking.

If you look closely at the sword, you can see it turning, though it is so slight that it's easyto miss. I actually never noticed the "sinking sword" before now Though I never was paying close attention to Kadaj's back during that scene, so...

I still say they didn't fix it. I never missed the turning part, but it's too slight. It should move a bit further to remove the sinking effect. His sword isn't exactly short. XDDD


Edit: Okay, I just saw my AC too. It seemed they did fix it a little... but it didn't work.
